I love Sweet tea with mint

4 cups water
10 Lipton tea bags (you don't have to use Lipton, but my Grandma sure did like it!)
Approx. 8 fresh mint leaves (or more to your liking), crushed

To crush mint leaves use a spoon and place leaves in a mug or bowl and crush with spoon to release oils.

NOTE: You may omit the mint and use sliced lemon if you prefer lemon tea.

Bring water and tea bags to a boil. Add crushed fresh mint leaves. Turn heat to low and simmer 5-10 minutes.
Strain into pitcher and dilute slightly with more water until you reach your desired tea color (strength). Add sugar to taste and refrigerate. Keep in mind, tea tastes sweeter when cold, so be careful not to over sweeten.

Fill your glasses with ice cubes, pour in the tea and enjoy!

Hi! I'm a regular follower, but I've never commented before. My mother and I were wondering- do you have a recipe for iced tea? It's the end of May and already our city's average is thirty degrees. I'd appreciate it, for sure!

Hi, Nina! It's been a while. I just made my first Artisan bread ever today, well it's rising. It'll be ready for baking tomorrow. It's actually the no knead bread. I remembered you blogged your Artisan bread that's why i'm surfing through your site. Hope mine will come out as beautiful and successful as yours. I'll be blogging them at myspace and my blogspot soon.

Hi,

I am a transplanted Upstate New Yorker, also of Italian descent. You talked about making Italian sausage, but I could not find a recipe. Could you give me your recipe?
